Το μέλλον των ελληνικών ποικιλιών

Οι ποικιλίες και τα terroir μας είναι ο θησαυρός και η πολύτιμη προίκα του ελληνικού κρασιού. Και όσο βαθύτερα τα κατανοήσουμε τόσο ψηλότερα αυτό θα βρεθεί. Μία ακόμη έρευνα έρχεται να προστεθεί για τις ποικιλίες του ελληνικού αμπελώνα συμπληρώνοντας την κλιματική κατηγοριοποίηση των περιοχών μας.

Θυμίζω ότι οι βασικές περιοχές κατηγοριοποιήθηκαν σύμφωνα με τα παρακάτω στοιχεία (Οι Growing Degree Days - GDD σύμφωνα με το Winkler Index (WI) ταξινομούν τις περιοχές σε 5 κατηγορίες από τις πιο ψυχρές στις πιο ζεστές (Regions I- V):
