Aivalis is a producer in Nemea whose red wines represent the masculine, robust version of Agiorgitiko. Dark ruby colour. Sour cherry jam, dark plums and loads of sweet spices on the nose (clove, cinnamon, chocolate and vanilla). Full-bodied with high extract, firm tannins and lively acidity. Long aftertaste. Quite youthful, needs further cellaring.
