Avantis, 'Anhydrous' Santorini 2019

Anhydrous (arid, waterless), is the newly released super cuvée of Avantis released in just 900 bottles this summer. It is a blend of two separate vineyards in the village of Pyrgos, that ferments and matures in a concrete egg. On the nose, it is already expressive with stone fruit, nectarines and floral undertones. On the palate, it delivers high complexity being layered and vertical at the same time with a dense mid-palate and a light grip on the very long finish.  Avantis' most complete Santorini wine produced yet.
