Tasted alongside Boutari Naoussa 1993 which was slightly over the hill. Yet the 96 Grande Reserve was alive and kicking with savoury, earthy nuances and bright ref fruit. This has just showing tertiary aromas with truffles undertones. Layered, medium bodied with firm tannins and long persistent finish the 96 is one of the very best.
