Diamantakis Diamantopetra Syrah-Mandilari 2013

Excellent blend of mostly Syrah (70%) with 30% of local capricious and tannic Mandilari, the latter being hard to work on its own. Blackberries, cassis and smoke on the nose along a medium bodied palate with plenty and ripe tannins. A joy! (tasted blind).
